About the Project
Wildlife corridors are one solution being implemented to help isolated wildlife populations survive extinction events (such as disease) by providing a safe way for creatures to migrate between 'untouched' land, without encountering the dangers of human civilization.
In this project I sought to explain this complicated topic in an approachable manner, appropriate for the general public. I sought to present a ray of hope for the environment, instead of taking the "we're all doomed" approach, too often applied in environmental activism.

The Process
I experimented with using the typography to explain the concepts. However, because the topic was complicated, my early rounds were overwhelmingly text-heavy.

Final Design
In the end, I took my original concept of "bridging the gap" and showed it instead of describing it, so the written title could be a more direct call to action.
I selected a 'new growth' green for the main text to contrast with the dull, lifeless blue of the 'fragments' to symbolize how wildlife corridors are the way to hope and growth.
